What to do to avoid CONFLICT at Work Place by Managers and Organization

To be in conflict is but natural at your Work Place and at Home, but what important is, how do you deal with the conflict arising at Work Place. How well are you at "CONFLICT MANAGEMENT"?
If you are in conflict at WORKPLACE, than it will take you to the degradation in work and will slower down your progress. How do you take out the "BEST WORKABLE SOLUTION" of conflict is more important, than to take out just a "SOLUTION". The way you deal with the CONFLICT, shows the capability of yours dealing with the individuals. By solving the conflicts on the Work Place, will take you more nearer to your goal. You would be able to derive your actual stature and would be able to focus on your definite goal.

What are you doing for resisting or eradicating the conflicts, so that you can again come back on the right path. Here are some trackers to pitch your sense of dealing with "conflicts" WHICH IS DERIVED FROM MY WORKING EXPERIENCE.
  
  • Put Yourself on the Position you have got.
 What this means ?
  • Is it that you have to be properly Designated ?
  • Is it that you are more eligible than you have got the Designation ?

No, It is not.  (Sarcastic) Ha Ha Ha Ha………..
It is something beyond it.

How to perform it ?
It is to bring your attitude up to the level of your thinking for the designation you have got. It shows the potential of your capabilities to reach to the particular designation. Putting yourself in the position" means to work actually according to the senses of your ability with full focus and determination to accomplish all the tasks assigned and to work pro-actively. To deal with the fellow members diligently with both emotional intelligence and professional minds.

  • Setting of Expectations
What this means ?
  • Is it the expectations what you have kept for yourself ?
  • Or it is the expectations you set for others and you be a free bird ?

Again Ha Ha Ha Ha……….. It is not

Very usual conflict is between Manager and Peers, Management and Managers. It starts with the entry of the new employee or rather I would prefer to say as an "ASSOCIATE", who joins the company. If He/She is not properly guided with the information of the company, conflict arise. If He/She is not given the working structure of the company or organization, than the conflict arise. If He/She is not told for their expectations of service, for what they are hired, conflict arise. It could be any in the terms of Organizational Behavior, Individual Behavior, Team Members Behavior, Individual Ethics, Work Ethics, Working Traits, Punctuality, Perfection, Capability, Work Satisfaction, Office Politics, Code of Conduct, Office Standards………. Ooopppppssss there are lot many.

It's the Management responsibility to cope up with all this terms and make it the regular practice for whole organization. Also, see to it that as and when basis, it is scrutinized and amended if required.

How to perform it ?
Create a certain sets of rules, certain sets of code of conducts, certain sets of examples, certain sets of guidelines to be followed by each and every associates in the organization or company. This has to be cleared to each and every members in the team. This will smooth-en the process of workings or let me say WORKING STYLE or PATTERN of Individual. The best way to eradicate the performance related "conflict" is to define the standards. The ultimate result will be "NO CONFLICT"

  • Major Setback - Communication
What this means ?
  • Is it that to keep the clear Communication between peers and subordinates[Associates]?
  • Or to keep intimated with every Communication?

This time no SARCASM  Ha Ha Ha Ha……….. It is.

Most of the conflicts occurs due to the One Way Communication or No Communication in the organization. Also on the other hand "conflict" doesn't arise due to Communication Block. The 2 statements are different but it is the actual fact. Suppose Management takes some decisions and doesn't involve any of the associates and says that it is compulsory all to follow, this will arise "conflict".
Or
Manager just takes decisions without discussing with the team members, this will arise "conflict". Associates will not get a confidence in Management or Managers, for what the strategies have been defined by them.

Don't keep any communication gap between management and associates

How to perform it ?
Discuss with each and every team members with the project assigned. Respect their suggestions. Welcome their efforts. Encourage them for getting more ideas on the project. Boost up their positive attitude. They should be given credit for the work done or the ideas suggested. It is said "Praise in Public but Reprimand in personal"

  • Being Optimistic in conflict
             What this means ? 
    • Is it that we should be very much optimistic in conflict?
Yes, A very Big Yes

The best possible impact of Conflict is by being very optimistic and affirmative. Built a very positive constructive model in the organization, that the result comes into the "Deliberation Conflict". Can we join this point with the examples of Successful People's globally. My thinking says YES.

Than why YES ???????

Successful people have never stopped learning in their life and learning leads to the steps of success ultimately. They never stop learning even into the awkward or tuff situations. So, they are successful in their life.

To be positive in any of the awkward situations of conflict and take conflict as an occasion in your life. This will really teach you for how to deal with your team mates an empower you with the lesson or learning of the life.
This is the time when you come to know the contradiction of your thinking or belief. Who knows that we can get a most important result from others perspective or their thinking. You have to begin searching yourself in different horizons, which will definitely lead to the door of success.

I say "Our Mind is the reflection of our Learning".

How to perform it ?
The best and perfect solution for this is to pitch at the right time and right place and on the right topic. Keep your eyes, ears open and most importantly your brain should be free to accept every controversy. By taking "CONFLICT" as an individual opinion will lead to anger and distress. By taking it optimistically will lead to the different zones of thinking.

  • Respect the Respect of others in conflict
 What this means ?
  • Is it means to respect the conflict and entertain it !

When you are working deeply on project with your team members, accept them with their capabilities, whether it is positive or negative both. There should be affinity or let me say as "An Emotional Bonding" between the Manger and Team Members to get the successful result. For this one has to take care of individuals work and their working capacity as well as their suggestions and ideas. Respect their ideas as suggestions and if the idea works, than give them the full credit for the same. Next time this will turn a very good result by getting the confidence build up in your team members. Remember that they are technically sound and so they are hired, remember to heed their opinions, remember to respect their self-respect.

How to perform it ?
The most easiest way to perform this is that let give the chance to team Members to put their verdicts or opinion in from of Manager and Manager develops the habit as a good listener. To end up the things without "conflict", just have a One to One conversation on your thinking and discuss it fairly with the team members. By doing this, Team Members will definitely agree on your point of view.

  • Select the Combat on which side you are - "CONFLICT or No CONFLICT" or Clash with your own thinking.
 What this means ?
  • Does it mean that fight with yourself !!!!!!!
  • Or it means that clash with others !!!!!

You have to be a judge of yourself or let me say "Be a decision taker of your own mind only". It is sure that "conflict" is going to take place. How smart are you will be proved if you select the combat against "conflict". Being a Manager or the CEO of the company if you are aware that there is no reason to clash, then let it go and in some circumstances if being important Clash and you let it go than also it will lead to failure.

How to perform it ?
Only One Sentence "Be a Team Player and don't mess up with the unwanted unproductive work"
